May 2005
Dear Associate,
Enclosed is your new Pap-R Products
price list, which will be effective July 1, 2005. This
new price list reflects
an increase, which is due to staggering increases in labor, insurance, transportation, and
other costs. It is necessary
to increase our prices to offset these expenses and help put us back on an even keel. We
continue to focus on
improving our manufacturing processes and material sourcing to help control cost
increases, but rising health insurance
costs and the fact that the State of Illinois has raised the minimum wage by $1.35/hour
cannot be ignored. This is
something we have resisted with our heart and soul, but we have to do.
Pap-R Products Vision is
To Exceed Customer Expectations. We realize that raising prices isnt the
best way
to exceed your expectations, but you have my commitment that we will continue improving
our services and capabilities.
We are growing and expanding,
both in facilities and product offerings. We now have manufacturing facilities totaling
120,000 sq. ft. in Martinsville, IL & 23,000 sq. ft. in Reno, NV. Both facilities
manufacture the stock products
available in our catalog, although Reno does not yet manufacture our ATM and POS product
line.
We are promoting our POS
product offering with specials on as little as 5 cases of printed rolls. Our business is
growing in both the POS and ATM product lines. We have one of the most state of the art
production machines in
North America that allows us to easily manufacture printed product as easily as plain.
This gives you, our customer,
greater opportunity to offer printed receipt rolls to customers who could only afford
plain before. Please call and ask for Tom Hoffman to explain how our program works.
Thank you for your patronage.
Sincerely,
Scott Ware
President
